‘We didn’t think it through’ gives a glimpse into the experience of an Aboriginal teenager caught in the justice system.

In a conversation wiht NITV Radio, Gary Lonesborough said that he was inspired to write this novel after working closely with Aboriginal kids entangled in the justice system.

Through this book, he seeks to give voice to these kids and their lived experiences.
