The summit aimed to find ways to incorporate technology with the world's oldest living culture.
First Nations digital makers from across Australia attended the Indigenous Digital Excellence Summit in Sydney last week to launch Australia's first IDX Strategy.
Hosted by the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence, the theme of the summit explored Inspire, Build and Connect.
CEO Kirstie Parker said the group looked at old problems capturing cultural history and ways to steer content into new innovative platforms.
She says a really important part of the summit was hearing from members of the Digital Maori Forum and looking at ways to build stronger communities and pathways to employment.
