Whale Tales project has been a journey for non-Aboriginal artists that are part of it to learn about Gadigal Country, about Saltwater Country and learn about the whale story. Waterfront Whale Tales is an outdoor art exhibition of 30 two-metre-high whale tail sculptures created by a diverse collective of 30 Indigenous and non-Indigenous artists at Sydney Harbour.

The 6-kilometre-long trail links Sydney Fish Markets to Pyrmont, The Star, Australian National Maritime Museum, ICC Sydney, Darling Quarter, Cockle Bay to King Street Wharf, past Crown Sydney to Barangaroo.
