Wiradjuri and Kamilaroi artist, Jonathan Jones takes part in inaugural mentorship program

The Country Road + NGV First Nations Commissions series has engaged mentors and emerging First Nations artists from eight Australian states and territories being represented in the first initiative of its kind in Australia.

Country Road and NGV have teamed up for the My Country: Country Road and NGV First Nations Commissions - a national exhibition pairing artists with mentors to support and guide them to create artwork reflecting the theme of 'My Country'.

Jonathan Jones is a Sydney based artist, working across a range of mediums from drawings, installations and sculptures and has had international and national exhibitions throughout the years.
