This years NAIDOC Week poster competition winner is Wiradjuri woman Lani Balzan with her painting titled Songlines tie all Aboriginal people together.
The 2016 NAIDOC theme is Songlines the Living Narrative of our Nation. Each year we celebrate with a poster to support the theme and showcase some of our wonderful artists.
Lani has been working as an artist professionally for 2 years and also works as an Aboriginal Education Officer at a Wollongong high school, teaching students about Aboriginal culture.
It's her first time entering the competition and she said that painting the journey of her ancestors was an honour.
