Charity Ball in Melbourne

On Saturday, March 2, the fifth, Charity Ball of the President of Polish Community Council in Victoria took place at the Polish House 'Syrena' in Rowville, Melbourne....our reporter, Marek Smalec was at the Ball.

The ball traditionally is under the patronage of Polish Ambassador in Canberra, Mr. Michał Kołodziejski.

Knight's Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland was received by Halina Puszkar - for her contribution and work in bringing up and teaching the young generation of Poles in Australia, and Teresa Solarska for her contribution to the promotion of Polish culture.
