16-year-old critical after Sydney stabbings

Seven people have been stabbed at a party in Sydney's northwest, with a 16-year-old boy left in a critical condition and two others seriously injured.

A 16-year-old boy is in a critical condition in hospital and another teen and a man have serious injuries after seven people were stabbed at a party in Sydney's northwest.

Police were called to a home in Ryde just after midnight on Sunday following a fight among young partygoers that left six males and a female with stab wounds.

A 16-year-old boy was taken to Westmead Hospital in a critical condition.

Another 16-year-old boy and a 21-year-old man were also taken to the hospital and both are understood to be in serious conditions.

Three boys, two aged 16 and one aged 17, and a woman aged 18 were all taken to Royal North Shore Hospital with stab wounds where they are understood to be in stable conditions.

Police are speaking to witnesses and no arrests had been made early on Sunday.
