A politician’s son allegedly shot dead a 19-year-old man for overtaking his car in India. The incident occurred on Saturday in the eastern state of Bihar. The accused is on the run.
The victim, Aditya Sachdeva was with his friends when he overtook the Range Rover of Manorama Devi, a member of the Bihar Legislative Council. Devi’s son Rocky was travelling in the SUV with a security guard who has said that the bullet that hit Aditya was fired from the personal revolver of the politician's son.

According to a friend of the victim who was with him at the time of the incident, the policeman in the SUV started firing in the air as soon as they overtook the vehicle.
"When we stopped, they forced us to get out of the car and then punched us. When we tried to leave the spot, someone fired from behind the car and a bullet hit my friend," he said.
While Rocky is still on the run, the police have arrested Ms. Devi's husband Bindeshwari Prasad Yadav alias Bindi Yadav for helping him escape and also the guard.
Family and friends of the teenage victim held a protest demanding quick action.
