The Jaginder Singh Pasricha Award for academic excellence is offering $5,000 to the highest performing Sikh students in VCE or IB.
The award carries a cash prize of $2,500 each for the highest performing male and female Sikh year-12 students in Victoria. The performance will be determined by ATAR or notional ATAR score.
Application forms for the awards can be downloaded from the website jaspaward.com.
Applications will be accepted through email by 15th January 2017, 11.59 AEDT. Applications can be emailed to info@jspaward.com.
The award has been established in the memory of Jaginder Singh Pasricha who passed away on January 16 last year, to support the education of young Sikhs in Victoria.
His family has established the award to honour his memory to give a head start to the careers of young Sikhs in Victoria.
