Parmanu - The story of Pokhran is based on the nuclear test conducted by India in 1998 under the then Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and Dr APJ Abdul Kalam who later went on to become the President of the country. 

John Abraham plays the lead member of the Pokhran Nuclear test team. The film brings out many facts that had so far been hidden or weren't paid attention to. It also brings out stories of people who are considered "unsung heroes" of the experiment that put India on the map as a global nuclear superpower.
