The iPhone7 and its multiple variants have been a subject of countless speculations and leaks already. The speculation include the new color variants to foregoing the 3.5mm audio jack.
The expected prices of the devices have been reportedly leaked as well, thanks to a post made on Chinese social networking website Weibo.
According to another report by Fast Company Apple is set to swap the traditional headphone jack and instead send sound through the lightning port that at the moment is mostly used for charging. That process will allow the phone to be even thinner than normal, alongside a range of other design changes.
As well as the changes to the headphone setup the phone will also be waterproof and able to charge wirelessly, the magazine reported citing “a source with knowledge of the company’s plans".
According to tech savvy website Techradar, “The iPhone 7 could have a new color option, a larger camera lens, may ditch the 3.5mm headphone jack and be thinner - with 32GB the minimum storage choice”
The mobile leakster Evan Blass (better known by his Twitter handle @evleaks) has added on to the rumors of the release date. According to Blass, Apple will be launching the iPhone 7 in the week of September 12. This is in line with previous rumors stating that the phone will launch in early to mid September.
Till date, little is known about how Apple will implement the new headphones, and the company itself has not said anything about these speculations.
