For some weeks now, AAP chief has accused Congress and Shiromani Akali Dal of conspiring together and of putting weak candidates in Badal’s and Amarinder’s constituencies so none of their personages loses in the state polls.

Kejriwal tweeted saying that: Captain Amarinder Singh is running from Lambi to ensure Badal senior wins. Punjab wants to know what deal do you have with Badal? Why did you stab Punjab in the back?
In return, Captain Amarinder Singh challenged Kejriwal to run from Lambi himself saying that he will be happy to take on Kejriwal from Lambi constituency. In reply to Kejriwal’s tweet, Captain Amarinder Singh tweeted saying that the AAP chief needs to get his head checked taunting that the whole nation is waiting to know when he will get checked.
Kejriwal also took a dig at SAD after Badal’s son Sukhbir tweeted on Monday that Amarinder should take on his father in Lambi only and not file nomination from Patiala. There were reports that Captain Amarinder Singh will file from Lambi and Patiala. To which Kejriwal tweeted:
AAP party campaign committee chairman Bhagwant Mann had also alleged that both SAD and Congress knew that AAP was going to sweep in Punjab. Mann alleged that Badals and Amarinder were two sides of the same coin and they always looked after the interests of each other’s political interests.
