Australian Indian Historical Society Inc. is hosting an exhibition to showcase the history and contributions of the Indian community in Australia. The exhibition which is being held in the Queens Hall at Parliament House, Melbourne, will unfold some unknown facts of Australian History.

The exhibition will be opened by Robin Scott, Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Telmo Languiller, MP on 12 September at 5.30 pm.
The AIHS was founded by Len Kenna and Crystal Jordan who have been voluntarily researching, writing, publishing and public speaking on Australian Indian History for the last 25 years. The results of this work have raised important issues and facts of the input of Indian migration in Australia.

AIHS believes that there is a need to bring to the fore this history and the contribution Indians made to the wider Australian community.
