Grandfather dies of 'shock' after learning of Adelaide family's deaths

A sixth member of an Adelaide family involved in a tragic road accident in India has died in hospital after learning of the deaths of five other family members in the accident.

Update: NK Paliwal was a passenger in the SUV that crashed on a highway in India while travelling to Taj Mahal. His daughter Anamika Datta (from Adelaide), another daughter and three grandchildren were killed in the accident. Mr NK Paliwal survived the accident along with his son-in-law Rupen Datta but later died in hospital after learning about the deaths of his two daughters and three grandchildren. Mr Rupen Datta is still in hospital with serious spinal injuries.
