Hardeep Hunjan and his 22-year-old girlfriend Ronnie Tayler-Morrison faced the murder trial for death of Ronnie’s13-month-old baby, Noah. The court heard the pair binged on alcohol and drugs during the last hours of the boy and delayed calling the paramedics as they tried to cover up the crime.
A court in the UK found 27-year-old Hardeep Hunjan guilty of murder, and his girlfriend Ronnie guilty of allowing or causing the death of a child and cruelty. She was acquitted of murder charges.

They first told the police that Noah had fallen from his cot. But a postmortem examination revealed his injuries weren’t consistent with what Hardeep and Ronnie claimed.
Noah Serra-Morrison died as a result of a skull fracture at his home in Luton (UK) in November last year.
The court was told the baby died due to a head injury, believed to have been caused by being slammed against a hard surface such as a wall or floor.

He had also suffered multiple limb fractures consistent with being twisted or swung.
Medical experts said the boy's injuries were similar to those found in people involved in a car crash or who had fallen from a building.
Hunjan and Tayler-Morrison repeatedly lied to police during interviews and fled to Scotland after being released on bail.
A detective told the court that it was a case of rare brutality.
“Rarely do we come across a case that involves such sheer malice and utter cruelty against a small child, by two people who were supposed to love and care for him."

Ronnie’s diary notings were produced before the court as evidence which revealed she loved her boyfriend more than her child.
“... I don't see life without him (and i know this sounds selfish but as much as I love Noah I feel like I love H more....”
The pair will be sentenced on Friday.
