Anagha Nikam was travelling on the train when she saw a mother trying to find some milk to feed her baby. Wanting to help the mother, she tweeted to the Indian railway ministry for help. The result? Milk was provided at the next station.
The ministry has been known of helping passengers in the past too. It is said to be very active on tweeter and has a following of 2.39 million on social media. The railway often updates its followers about country’s rail lines and its progress.
Ms Nikam communicated with Konkan railway, a division of Indian Railways about the mother’s need of the mother. The Ministry was quick to respond and tweeted back with help. Here’s how it all went:
