Music industry mourns the death of famous Punjabi lyricist Pargat Singh Lidhran

Punjabi film and music industry has been left deeply saddened by the demise of renowned Punjabi poet and lyricist, Pargat Singh Lidhran.

Punjabi writer and lyricist Pargat Singh Lidhran breathed his last Monday night. He was 54. 

Punjabi singer Harjit Harman who gave voice to many of his songs shared this information on his Facebook and Instagram pages.

Apart from Harjit Harman, many of his songs were sung by famous Punjabi singers including Satwinder Bitti, Ravinder Grewal, Miss Puja, Harvi and Mani Aujla.

Pargat Singh was born in Lidharan village (near Mastuana Sahib) of Sangrur District in Punjab.
Singer Money Aujla shared his condolence through his Instagram account.

“My song London’s creator lyricist Pargat Singh Ji is not between us anymore. Remembering his wonderful and gentle soul will forever remain in our hearts. May he Rest In Peace. I extend my deepest sympathies to you the family.
Harjit Harman’s famous song ‘Jatti’ was also written by Pargat Singh. Its video recently crossed 13 million hits on Youtube.
