23-year-old Ashwani Aggarwal is facing multiple charges of theft and there are six warrants for his arrest. Auckland Police are looking for him after he failed to appear before a court.
Police say Ashwani is dangerous and have cautioned the public not to approach him.
He is wanted in connection with thefts of bags, phones and computers from Auckland Library.
Police also want him in relation to several other matters, including threats that he made against several people known to him.
Police say he is aware that he is required for investigation into these matters, and he was deliberately evading police.
