Jarrod Singh, a constable with Durham Regional Police Service, was responding to a 911 call where there were reports of a possible fight taking place. But when Singh responded to the call in Ontario, Canada, it turned out to be a group of University of Ontario Institute of Technology shooting a music video.
“I saw eight people gathered around on person, so I can see how a member of the public thought it was a fight,” Singh said in a statement according to Huffington Post.
“But when I got closer I could see he was break dancing in the middle and there was someone filming it.”
Singh, who enjoys dancing himself, joined on of the dancers, Mahdi Tarfi, in a freestyle dance battle at the scene.
A Toronto-based design company Vivid Media Co was recording the students’ video for an upcoming dance competition when Singh danced his way in to the shoot. The company shred the video on Facebook and has since gained more than 1 million views.
Singh is, however, well known for his dance moves. He was a member of a Durham College dance troupe and also opened a show for rapper Rick Ross once.
