Tommee Tippee Super Soft Child Comforters have been found unsafe by the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC). These dummies were recalled on 12th August after ACCC released a statement saying,

"In the event that a child takes the whole comforter into their mouth, the shield and teat size combination may allow the comforter to get positioned in the back of the mouth. If the comforter is taken into the back of the mouth in a certain position, it may pose a risk of choking.”

The dummies in question were sold at Coles, Woolworths, Big W and many pharmacies around the country between 1st of May and June 2016. These dummies are marked with the number- SKU 270145 and may have one of the following codes:

09116JC, 08516JC, or 12316JC.

Parents have been adviced to stop using these dummies immidiately and news.com.au reported that the Tommy Tippee website is offering refunds.
