Bharat Singh, an unskilled worker from Rajasthan, borrowed Rs 10,000 from a local money lender to enrol his son in Jaipur's  premier cricket academies. This was four years ago. Today, his son Nathu Singh, a tearaway pacer who has recorded 140kmpr, was picked up by the Mumbai Indians who shelled out Rs 3.2cr for him, beating the bids of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Daredevils in the IPL auctions.

Nathu's story is a true Cinderella story - His father, Bharat Singh, is an unskilled labourer who works in factory that manufactures electrical wires and earns a meager Rs 8,000 per month. Excited to see his son touching new heights, all he could exclaim was, "God exixts!" for a sum of $12,000 is the most the family had ever seen in one go before Nathu's success.

Nathus was nocticed by all in his Ranji Trophy debut against Delhi in October 2015 during his seven-wicket haul against Delhi. He was strongly supported by Gautam Gambhir who was himself a victim of this 20 year old pacer.

Nathu clearly remembers the day his father borrowed money from a local lender that they had to pay back monthy on interest. His problem didnt end there. He needed a prper kit to practice too. He started wearing discared shoes of other players who had stopped wearing them and played tennis-ball cricket leagues as a so-called professional to earn money to put towards cricket equipment.

On hearing about his success, family and friends burst crackers and celebrated late into the night. Nathu's story is surely a rags to riches story of success.
