An Indian-origin grocery store owner has become a victim of a violent robbery in Browns Plains in Brisbane.
39-year-old Neelu Sharma was getting ready to close her store at around 7 PM when two robbers pointed a knife at her and demanded money and her phone. The robbers slashed her right hand as she tried to save herself, leaving her heavily bleeding. The robbers left with the money and her phone.

“It was horrifying. I am very scared. Even now I am shivering,” said Neelu.
Heavily bleeding, Neely had to drive with one hand to get medical help. She received nine stitches.
Clearly shaken by the incident, Neelu and her husband now plan to close their business earlier.
