Master blaster Sachin Tendulkar’s autobiography “Playing it my way” was released on 6th November, 2014 and sold like hot cakes with a record 1,50,289 copies confirmed on order subscriptions.
The book was published by Hachette and on day one, pulled more pre orders than any of the world’s top best sellers like Dan Brown’s Inferno, Walter Isaacson’s Steve Jobs or JK Rowling’s Casual Vacancy.
The book also holds the record in terms of retail value, clocking up a sum of Rs 13.51 Crore in total with the cover price of Rs 899.
