With the win in the T20 world cup final, West Indies have silenced their critics. Man-of-the-match Marlon Samuels, whose unbeaten knock of 85 kept them in the hunt, dedicated the win to Shane Warne.

The former Aussie leg-spinner had been criticising Samuels since the Big Bash League. At the presentation ceremony on Sunday, Samuels parted by saying, “This is for Shane Warne.”

Then came in skipper Darren Sammy, who didn't hold any punches either. He gave credit to the team and the coaching staff. Sammy said the team didn't even have the uniforms as they arrived in Kolkota.

While ending the post-match interview, Sammy said he was extremely disappointed with the West Indies Cricket Board.
