Students, teacher stabbed at Sydney high school

A 16-year-old boy in a school uniform has been arrested with a pair of scissors and a machete in a nearby carpark.

A teacher and two students in a Sydney school have been stabbed with a metal ruler, Fairfax Media reports.

A boy and a girl have been reportedly stabbed in shoulder and a woman teacher suffered stab wounds to her back.

Police were called after reports of stabbings at Bonnyrigg High School in Sydney’s west at 8:45 this morning.
Paramedics treated the 48-year-old teacher, and the two students at the scene and were later taken to hospital. A 16-year-old male student was taken to Liverpool hospital and a 15-year-old female student was taken to Westmead hospital.
Police say their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

A 16-year-old boy in a school uniform was arrested in a carpark nearby and was taken to Fairfield police station and two knives recovered from him. 

A crime scene has been established and investigations continue.
