She is an accomplished powerlifter whose strength, size and intent had given her a special recognition in this tournament.
Kavita might not have won the match but her power and personality had social media buzzing.
Twitter, in particular, celebrated the entrance of the third Indian wrestler in the WWE arena.

In an interview to Sports Keeda recently, Kavita showed her intent to inspire more Indian women to take up wrestling.
"I think it's possible. If you saw me wrestle, I wrestled in traditional Indian attire. Representing Indian culture is very important," she said.
"I competed at a very high level, in our traditional dress. Girls have been very inspired by my performance," she added.
