Two teenagers have been charged after they allegedly robbed a restaurant in Minto in south-west Sydney on January 3.

55-year-old HM Tanveer who operates the restaurant, was in the kitchen preparing the orders when an armed intruder with his face covered suddenly entered and held him to the gun point.
While Tanveer and another worker were walked into a different room, another accomplice who was armed with a knife, forced the cash register emptied.

There was at least one customer present in the restaurant at the time of the crime.

Tanveer has told 7 News that the loss to his business goes beyond the $1500 stolen during the crime. He says his customers are scared to return to his business since the incident, fearing this could happen again.

Police have arrested the two suspects who, police allege, also held up another fast food restaurant in Minto a couple of weeks ago.  A 16-year-old and an 18-year-old man have been charged and faced court on Tuesday.
