This year, CIBC is supporting the Vaisakhi Day parades, including the highly attended parades in Surrey, B.C. on April 23 and in the Greater Toronto Area on May 1, as well as in Calgary and Montreal later in May.

"CIBC is proud to join Sikh Canadians in celebrating Vaisakhi with our specially made silver coin and in upcoming parade festivities," said Vineet Malhotra of CIBC. "As a community bank and one of Canada's top diversity employers, we embrace multiculturalism and continually look for ways of providing products and services that not only meet the needs of our clients but also resonates with them in today's fast-paced, connected world,"

"On behalf of the team at CIBC, I wish everyone a joyous Vaisakhi!", added Mr Malhotra.
