A family in New Zealand is angry at the pizza chain Dominos after the store accidentally served meat on their vegetarian order. According to NZ Herald, Jaideep Saini was eating the pizza with his relatives, when, he noticed that the topping had bits of ham in it.
'Being religiously vegetarian, my family innocently ate ham in their pizza until I noticed the pizzas were not vegetarian and I stopped them from eating,' he said.
Dominoes store manager Nishan Singh said the mix-up was truly an ‘awful’ error and that someone at the store may have been careless while making the order.
Mr Saini said that when he tried to take the pizza back, he was told that the refund could take three days.
‘Very disappointing as our religious values have been hurt by Dominoes New Zealand.’
Nishan Singh offered to refund Mr Saini’s money and make a correct order for him.
