A Point Cook resident was attacked after he tried to stop hoons from terrorising their neighbourhood.
The attackers beat the man in front of a young family and threatened to return and destroy his home.
CCTV footage captured the terrifying attack on Monday night as the man decided to challenge a speeding driver who sped through Point Cook. The man threw a basketball at the speeding car and soon after the attackers in a four wheel drive chased the man and threw punches at him.
Armed with an iron bar, Ralph managed to fight back to stop the attacker in his tracks.
But the attackers threatened to return and destroy his home.
“They guy’s said we’ll be back. We are your worst nightmare,” Ralph said.
“Irish accent, broad shoulders. I remember his face.”
Residents say they have had enough of hoons taking over.
The hoon who attacked the resident and his two offsiders had solid builds and Irish accents.
