Indian skipper MS Dhoni is known for his quick thinking and ability to keep nerves under pressure. These qualities of the 'captain cool' have seen India through on multiple occasions.
It was yet another moment of brilliance of Dhoni during the IPL that lit up the day for Dhoni's fan even if the match didn't end in a victory for him.
Dhoni's new team Rising Pune Supergiants was playing against Kings XI Punjab at Mohali on Sunday. KXIP batsman Manan Vohra was batting and he looked to guide a ball down the third man.
Since Dhoni’s hands were behind the ball to collect it if the batsman missed or edged the ball, he stuck out his right leg to stop the shot and prevented it from running to the boundary.
Just watch this video of the unbelievably clever piece of wicket-keeping by Dhoni.
And, who can forget the amazing work Dhoni did at the final ball of the group stage match against Bangladesh in T20 World Cup!
But, this one is truly an innovation.
