A 25-year-old man smashed several taxis with a cricket bat in Melbourne CBD as the drivers watched on in shock.
Front and rear of up to six taxis was smashed near Southern Cross station before 9 am on Monday.

“He walked up to me very calmly and he smashed the rear window of my car as well,” said taxi driver Jatinder Singh.
“I just pull up on the rank, there was an empty space, he just came with a bat and hit the car and nearly tried to kill me,” one of the drivers told 9 News.
“There was something about Osama Bin Laden and a terrorist attack written on the bat.
“I’ve never seen something like that in all my 40 years as a taxi driver.”
