West Indies has created a record. Their Women’s, Under-19s and the Men’s team are all T20 World Cup champions at the moment.
Sunday night’s Men’s T20 finals played at Eden Gardens in Kolkata between England and West Indies was so dramatic and thrilling that no one would have thought that West Indies would turn the game around in mere 4 balls.
The credit goes to their all-rounder Carlos Brathwaite, who hit 4 consecutive sixes in the last over by Ben Stokes.
England had set a target of 156 which West Indies achieved in 19.4 overs. Before the last over was bowled, it appeared to be an uphill task for West Indies as they needed 19 runs from 6 balls. Take a look at how Carlos Brathwaite’s brilliant knock snatched the victory away from England.
