Diljit Dosanjh took the social media by storm on Sunday when he shared a morphed image of himself perched on a bench with his leg dangling, next to Ivanka Trump with the Taj Mahal shimmering in the background.
Sharing the picture on his social media handles, the popular actor wrote a hilarious caption in Punjabi, joking that Ms Trump insisted on being taken to the Taj, and he was left with no choice but to oblige.
Ivanka Trump, the daughter and senior advisor of US President Donlad Trump, recently visited the Taj Mahal when she accompanied the POTUS on his first official visit.
The photo has been trending on social media and caught Ms Trump's attention, who reshared the social media post and thanked the Punjabi superstar for “taking her to the spectacular Taj Mahal.”
“It was an experience I will never forget,” she wrote on Twitter.
The light exchange between the two continued after Diljit replied to Ivanka saying he has been trying to convince everyone that the picture wasn’t photoshopped. He then ended it with “See you soon” and invited her to visit his home town, Ludhiana in Punjab.
Ivanka Trump also shared some other creative memes, where similar photoshop fixes had been applied to her pictures taken during her India visit.
She wrote, “I appreciate the warmth of the Indian people.”
Diljit, who was last seen in Bollywood movie 'Good Newwz' alongside Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar, and Kareena Kapoor Khan will next be seen in the Bollywood film, 'Jodi' alongside Nimrat Khaira in a lead role.
