The movie Sajjan Singh Rangoot is a based on the experiences of the soldiers of the Sikh regiment fighting the First World War at the western front. Daljit Dosanjh plays a Sikh sepoy in the British Indian Army and veteran Punjabi actor Yograj Singh plays Zorawar Singh, Commander of the unit in which Sajjan Singh is serving.
