Detective Superintendent Ray Rohweder of Queensland Police held a press conference yesterday, about the double homicide in Gordonvale, Cairns, which he described as a "horrific, blood soaked scene", and something "that will stick" with the emergency workers who attended the crime scene "for the rest of their lives".
“We have children without a mother and grandmother, we have a grandfather without a wife and daughter so it’s just really a terrible, terrible situation,” he said.
