The conference '30 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall: How communism and post-communism are tracking' will take place this week on the Gold Coast, January 31- February 1. The event is organised by Australasian Association for Communist and Post-Communist Studies which has been around for 44 years. We speak with the president of this association the Senior Lecturer in Banking and Finance, Griffith Business School Alexandr Akimov. The first question we ask Alexandr is whether the legacy of 28 years of existence of the Berlin wall still has ramifications to development of society, especially on the countries of the former Warsaw pact?

Here are the details of the conference

We are on air Monday, Thursday and Saturday 12-1 PM
