Alienated at ANZAC parade

The Immortal Regiment, marching in the ANZAC parade, 2017 Source: Submitted by Galina Lazareva
This year the ANZAC Day parade against its ethos of unity of all Australians left the Russian speaking community in NSW with the feeling of exclusion. The letter sent by RSL NSW said that in the 2017 parade the Russian breached the guidelines of the parade by carrying the portraits of diseased veterans and singing while marching. Galina Lazareva who was put off by this letter explains why it felt like a hard hit to take.
