All rosy at Mosfilm, not so much in other places

We had an interesting chat with perhaps the most renowned guest of the Russian Resurrection Film Festival in Australia this year - Karen Shakhnazarov, the Soviet and Russian film director, screenwriter, producer and public figure. Karen Shakhnazarov is the General Manager and CEO of Mosfilm, has been awarded the title of People's artist of the Russian Federation and is also the winner of many prestigious awards. The opening night in Melbourne screened his brand new movie Anna Karenina. Vronskys Story, but we talked not just about this work, but also the things relevant and perhaps not so relevant to the Russian film industry.
