Anti-violence advocates call for longer-term thinking from next federal government

Advocates are urging the next federal government to invest more into changing the behaviour and attitudes of perpetrators of domestic violence. They say for too long the focus has been largely on helping women and children who are hurt by violence, and not enough effort has been put into stopping the perpetrators from hurting them in the first place.
