Soviet physicist Alexander Prokhorov was one of founders of quantum electronics and laser technologies and the Nobel Prize laureate in physics in 1964. Interesting, that formally he most likely, remained the citizen of Australia which of course, in the Soviet Union was hardly known. In his homeland Australia also only few enthusiasts knew about this fact of the biography of big scientist. As the historian and writer Dr. Elena Govor says in Australia a number of publications appeared, but factual material should have been handled more accurately.
