Australian notebook. Ambulance waiting time

Ambulances are not coping with the increasing workload. Aging population, the chronically ill and the flu season are the reasons ambulances are unable to respond to most urgent calls within the prescribed 10 minutes. In some emergency departments patients have to wait up to 1 hour.
