Scientists believe there will be no koalas left in NSW by 2050. Their habitat is rapidly disappearing due to logging, land clearing and industrial construction. Brumbies in the Snowy Mountains are becoming pests so Canberra is considering culling about 90% of them to reduce damage to the enviroment.
