Almost 30 registered child sex offenders attempting to travel overseas have had their passports cancelled under strict new legislation that came into effect 8-months ago, aimed at reducing child sex tourism. Child protection campaigners believe many more offenders who pose a risk to children overseas have been deterred from traveling by the legislation.
