Russian pianist Konstantin Shamray, the winner of the 2008 Sydney International Piano Competition , will perform with the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra early next month. He is excited to play Schumann’s only piano concerto and is convinced that one of the greatest musical masterpieces should be programmed in Australia a lot more often.
