Basic income proposed, to keep people above the poverty line

New research shows a majority of Australians believe there should be an unconditional basic income to keep people above the poverty line. JobSeeker and JobKeeper payments provided stability to people during the coronavirus pandemic. Now there is a push for the government to launch a permanent basic income program to all Australians.
