A crowd-funding campaign to reinstate an Australia Day billboard featuring two young Muslim girls has surpassed expectations, and organisers are now hoping to expand the media campaign to every state in Australia. The fund has raised over $150,000 (as at 1000 aedt Fri) and is nearing its target of $200,000. (check at for latest) The billboard was taken down after threats were allegedly made to the advertising company operating it.
