President of Chess Victoria and vice-president of Australian Chess Federation Leonid Sandler returned from The 43rd World Chess Olympiad in Batumi, Georgia. We talked about his impressions from the newly elected head of FIDE Arkady Dvorkovich and discussed the results of the teams which in some sense were predictable with the inconsistent performance of Russian teams in recent years.
