Coaching is a relatively new profession, which is officially recognised in America, but has not yet been recognised in Australia and in Russia. Nevertheless, many coaches work successfully in both these countries and have a lot of clients. For example, the coach Alina Svetlova worked with large corporations in Russia, and is still in profession even after moving to Australia. We met with Alina over a cup of coffee and discussed how coaches are different from psychologists; how small steps can help to overcome the difficulties of immigration; and why people are so afraid of dreaming.
