Australia's leading science prizes, the Eureka Prizes, have announced this year's finalists. Among them is Dr Alisa Glukhova, head of the Structural Biology Laboratory at the Walter and Eliza Hall Institute. Her team has unveiled the 3D structure of a key protein, PINK1, which is linked to the onset of Parkinson's disease.
